Blocks are set on a crushed rock foundation and the voids in the blocks are filled with crushed rock. A soil separator fabric placed between the block and soil to allows for soil backfill directly to the back of the block. Alignment between successive layers is automatic with a unique rebar retainer system that also serves as a lift point for setting the block. The built-in drain system eliminates the need for rock backfill directly behind the blocks. Site changes and additions, as well as disassembly of temporary walls, are just as easy as installation.
